Hello, I'm

kaylie

Photographer

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my first professional camera at 13—a Christmas gift from my parents—and from that moment, I was hooked. I would set up makeshift studios in my living room, bedroom, or even abandoned castles (anywhere that looked beautiful!), much to the amusement (and occasional frustration) of my friends and family. I was the kid rearranging my room at 2 AM just so a shot looked better!

Beyond photography, I’m also a Registered Nurse and have spent the past five years working in Intensive Care. I recently returned to the UK after a year of working and traveling across Australia, balancing life between ICU shifts and capturing moments behind the camera.

Despite my lifelong love for photography, I never considered making it a career—until my own wedding in October 2023. I had the most incredible photographer (SallyTPhotography) and videographer (WildLoveVisuals), and instead of fully switching off, I found myself wishing I could pick their brains all day! At one point, I was holding Jaye’s camera on the way to Bolton Abbey, and I could barely contain my excitement (I promise I didn’t press any buttons!).

That experience made me realize something: life is too short not to chase what sets your soul on fire. So, in Australia, I took the leap, bought a professional camera, and told myself, just go for it. And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

I may be new to the professional photography world, but what I can promise is a deep passion for capturing raw, beautiful moments and helping people feel truly seen. If that resonates with you, let’s connect and create something magical together.

My approach

My approach to photography is rooted in storytelling—elegant, soft, and deeply emotive. I seek to capture the raw, unfiltered moments that often go unnoticed, the fleeting glances, quiet laughter, and genuine emotions that make each story unique. With a documentary and candid style, I aim to create images that not only preserve memories but also evoke feelings, transporting you back to the moment every time you look at them. My goal is to craft timeless, heartfelt imagery that speaks to the soul.
